Using Computer Media for God's Word

Hi eBibles,
Well today's email will be about Computer Media Formats and how we approached our first major undertaking to get the text and audio to work with the Photos and then convert them over to computer media.

Well as things kept advancing we started to make some other computer products starting out with nature photos with the KJV text on the screen for every verse in the Bible yes all 31799 verses VOC 19.

We started by working by purchasing a Photo subscription service on downloading a lot of royalty free photos but learned real fast that quality was not always there and all vertical pictures could not be used. Then we had to find a font that when white could be read with a photo in the background.

As we started to get more into developing this product we started to purchase our own camera equipment to help get better photos to use. We also then started more expensive investing in our own photographs and started taking time to do photos to have some high resolution quality photos to add to our products.

We worked for months creating, viewing and then deleting the specific photos that did not work. We literally created over 400,000 photo/text combination jpg files to find ones that worked for this project. We are currently working on our 4th generation version.

We have automated a lot of the picture selection but I would love to have the next generation where each verse is hand picked from our 12 choices per verse selection. So that way you could pick the best picture for that verse. It takes a lot of time and we have not arrived at this goal yet.

Then we were able to build some screen savers with out music VOC 16 and then we added full stereo CD quality music with the screen savers also VOC 15. These come out very beautiful as they are 1024 x 768 resolution which is much better quality then DVD quality which is 720 x 482 resolution.

We then put together some audio formats that were WMA Windows Media Audio format that is compatible with windows media player and WMA compatible hardware players.

So then we converted our master WAV Bible and Files over to Full WMA quality for a

WMA Bible on DVD VOC 24 and then also put them onto CD so that they can play on a WMA CD player VOC 42.

Then we converted our 366 Daily Devotions over to WMA format on 7 CDs VOC 46.

So now that we had KJV Text combined with Nature Photos the next step was to combine these together to have the audio synchronized together. But the next step was we had to make each verse a separate MP3 file. So we had to listen to the.

This ended up being a long and time consuming task. As every verse was a different length and needed to be synchronized to show the photo on the screen for each verse.

We did some major research and tried a lot of different programs and spent a lot of money before we found one that we could manage this large 64000 files task.

Each chapter had to have a photo for it with text on the screen for navigation for that chapter. Each chapter had to have a photo also so a total of 32000 photos, 32000 MP3 audio files one for each verse.

So our first step after getting every thing synchronized was to build some MPG files on 16 DVD Data disks VOC 47.

We then converted the MPG Bible over to WMV (Windows Media Video) format and put them on 3 DVD Data Disks VOC 17.

Plus these were added to an ultimate Bible collection for your computer VOC 18

Plus we also build our 366 daily devotions mpg files and converted them over to WMV format on 3 DVD Data disks VOC 25 and also converted them over to our 90 Day devotions WMV VOC 39

Total in this category is a total of 3 WMA products and 4 WMV Products. 1 MPG product and 2 screen saver products plus 1 wallpaper photo product.

Total of Computer Media Products 11.
