So today's email is about our MP3 Audio format for the Bible. We have our Bible in 100% digital audio recordings and then converted these WAV files over to MP3 format and encoded at 128kbps. So the audio quality is full stereo and sounds great and similar in quality to original CD's.
If we had someone request for a higher encoding of kbps we would be glad to do that also. We do have our higher quality surround sound products at a higher kbps for a full sound quality experience.
So about the time MP3 files were all the rage in early 2004 and were becoming the standard we decided that our first goal was making the Bible available in MP3 file format.
So the compete Bible was encoded into MP3 format and we were able to fit it completely onto 1 DVD data disk so to make the pricing a better value as it fit on 1 DVD data. This data disk would need to be copied from your computer to your MP3 player VOC 12.
But as the format demand grew and hardware manufacturers started making CD MP3 players and DVD players that were compatible with MP3 CD's we made this available in other disk media on 7 CD's data disks VOC 20.
So now this is our most popular selling product and we have reduced the price to make it more attractive to the broad market with CD and DVD players. So now no computer is required to play these directly on compatible players.
So this started our MP3 collection of products that has grown which we then added our 366 Daily audio Devotions on 2 DVD data disks VOC 14 and on then we put these 366 daily devotions on to 7 CD's VOC 08, We also converted our 90 Day Audio Devotions MP3 on to 1 DVD data disk VOC 38.
Then we also converted the 90 Day Audio Devotions onto 7 CDs VOC 34. The goal was to make the disk format a choice and not a restriction and worked the price to an advantage if you got the DVD data disk version.
Then to top off all these MP3 format products we were able to build a complete MP3 KJV Bible Audio Word Concordance with every major word in the Bible pulled together where each word 12,000 plus files are is a separate MP3 file. With a total of unbelievable 1400 plus hours of audio VOC 23 a total of about 60 plus gigs of media files.
If these were on the old CD audio format it would take 1200 audio CD's if you could put the max of 70 minutes on each disk. Now we have this available in compressed MP4 Format on 3 DVD's VOC 52 which is down to about 12 gigs.
